The Project
To build and oversee multiple Live Music Stages with services that Included, Staging, sound, lighting and video for the SnowGlobe Music Festival in South Lake Tahoe.
The Challenge
Keeping equipment working and stages safe in sub zero temperatures and at times multiple feet of snow.
The Solution
Custom covered sound wings were designed by our in house Fabrication team to aid in keeping the equipment separated from the elements. In addition, staging crews worked around the clock both on the ground and in the air to keep the snow and ice from accumulating on the staging surfaces. The lighting crew also worked long into the night keeping the lighting system operational as the temperatures were so cold once the system was
turned on, it remained on 24 hours per day for a total of 5 days.
